The Sadness - 2021 - 7/10
A Taiwanese horror movie more than loosely based on the Garth Ennis' comic book, Crossed. In fact, if you've ever read Crossed & may have wondered how the situation might play out on film, you will see it here in The Sadness. Saturated in human on human violence, I was definitely left sitting with my mouth open at times. So violent in fact, that it becomes more cartoonish than anything right up to the last moment. I caught in on Shudder & it felt like a zombie film on steroids. In some cases, I can't figure out why some of the actors in the film would agree to be in it.

Fire of Love (2022) - Intrepid scientists and lovers Katia and Maurice Krafft died in a volcanic explosion doing the very thing that brought them together: unraveling the mysteries of volcanoes by capturing the most explosive imagery ever recorded.
This is a unique love story framing some amazing volcano footage. 9/10

Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) - When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game turns deadly in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.
What a scathing commentary about the younger generation. I laughed out loud at the end when the murder mystery was solved. 7/10

Looks interesting, thanks for posting. It's supposed to come to Disney+ eventually, but no date as of yet.

Wolf (1994)
6.2/10
The reason I decided to give Wolf a watch was because it stars Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Coming in at 2hrs the story moves at a slow pace. As well made as Wolf is, it tends to feel like a high-
end made for television movie. To be honest, there isn?t all that much to the story.
Anyone watching expecting to see gore or Werewolf transformations will be disappointed. There is one
moment that sees a hairy hand transform into a human hand, which sums up the lack of special effects.
There is some blood from time to time, but not much. I can only assume both Nicholson and Pfeiffer
agreed to do the project was maybe because there was not much else on offer at the time to the pair of them?

I'd give it the same rating, and yeah, my hands were sweating quite a bit...some good height thrills.

Mike Nichols was a director that everyone wanted to work with.
