Aside from them stealing one of the extremely popular tag lines of the show for their own use, I?m glad they aren?t doing x files. Their likeness department and general quality leaves a LOT to be desired. Leave the great IPs to the pros like prime 1.

Someone just give me a Mulder and Scully statue!!

At least IS are affordable and a good scale to easily display.

I think Dark Horse had 1/6 scale statues for each of them several years back when the movie came out (I actually had the Mulder piece). Likenesses were ok for the time. With advances in sculpting, I'm sure someone could produce a much better piece today.

I?m such a huge x files fan. I would snap these up in a heartbeat if they were good.

I have a podcast. ?This is not happening: another x files podcast? of anyone?s interested! I?d love ratings and reviews!

I was expecting Mulder and Scully from X-Files too.

Since they are doing alien creatures, maybe Iron Studios could also get the Men In Black license and make some of the aliens from that movie.

Factory Entertainment did a nice bobblehead of the Worm Guy. I would buy a diorama of the whole bunch drinking coffee and smoking. Maybe a scaled and less pricey version of ECC's Gentle Rosenberg.

Agree. I know it is polystone (and why the price is higher) but it also looks like one of those pieces you find in the "collectibles" section of a target for $20-$25.

I mean if we are being honest $100 for an Iron Studios piece these days is a shocker considering most new pieces are base minimum $125 on up. Given those higher priced pieces have a much more detailed base, but this is overall I'd say a good price for an IS piece. Although for a new line with a very obscure set of characters, probably should have gone more like $75.

I think it?s safe to say this line will be a giant, ill-conceived swing and a miss for iron studios. The fact they aren?t tying it to an IP is risky enough, but if this first piece is any indication, the quality and design will be lackluster. They better step it up if they want people to bite.
