Man this is a very impressive piece. If it's in the same 7" scale as the Dewback on Sandtrooper, Luke on Tauntaun and Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike I'll be getting this for sure. We need some measurements.

Incredible... maybe I would prefer a Luke vs. Rancor Diorama but since we already have the Luke on Taun Taun, I guess it would be too many Lukes.
Damn. GG stop making those awesome pieces .. I need a life !

I'll definitely be getting this one for my collection. I don't like the pose 100% and
would have preferred a more dynamic, action pose, BUT it is the best (only) Rancor
statue/diorama out there besides that latex thing, and the Bowen Bronze Rancor,
so this'll have to do for a good-looking-and-yet-still-affordable Rancor.

Agreed. This statue is awesome but pisses me off at the same time. Your probably wondering why??? It pisses me off because I start thinking of why the F did GG go with the black block base for the Biker Scout diorama?????? It's obviously a diorama because it's not in scale with the other statues so why didn't they have a forest themed base???? Every other dio had one, this really burns me up. They really should make up for this and come out with a forest base for that piece and sell it at a decent price. F'n retards.

P.S. I hate that black block base they're using. I still buy the statues but they could have made way better bases. I like that's it's simple but it's a pretty lousy base.

The detail on this is spectacular! I love the added touch of having drool dripping from his mouth. This is easily going to be one of my favorite statues along with the sandtrooper on dewback. I hope the luke on taun taun kicks @ss too as it should be released next month, although I'm wondering on that release date now as the statue wasn't shown at toyfair but maul was.
