It would be cool if SS offers two version with one being a full chromed option. Maybe the chrome should be the exclusive! Now that would be a great Ex!

We are talking about prices right? I find it hard to believe, given the history of Sideshow Maquette's, that this will be anything less than $700. Let's look at the history:
Rogue Maquette - $700
Magneto Maquette - $750
Iron Man Mark VII Maquette - $795
If you look at these 3 alone, they sort of have the same thinner body type that surfer will have. Since it's a Maquette it will have a more crazy base and I also think these 3 fit that. Pretty in depth bases, but not super crazy.
Obviously as the body and size of the character get bigger, the price of Maquette's has gone up:
-Juggernaut Maquette - $1350
-Doomsday Maquette - $1235
-Gladiator Hulk - $1350
Now the only saving face, and what may be a new trend in downward prices, is that Gambit is on pre-order at $685, and there's a Doctor Strange pre-order at $675. Given that, and the fact we are still in a global pandemic with millions of people losing their jobs, perhaps Sideshow would debut at a lower price of $650 or less, but who knows.
I'm still going to say given the hype, and the popularity of the character, they do $700.

IMHO, every toy/statue company is churning out more and more products during this pandemic and people are spending more than ever on collectibles (if you see all the groups).
I really hope this would be priced at $850.
But, Sideshow knows the level of hype surrounding this release. And, the alternatives right now are expensive custom pieces or the old comiquette / bowens which are ridiculously priced. This coupled with the fact that if this maquette has an elaborate black hole effect, swap out infinity gauntlet, all of it may just push it to $1000.

Fans have been waiting for 7 months, and now they have to wait a whole week, so they want to play the guessing game, you know like the price is right, something to do until then.
It's nice to see it will be silver, i guess depending on the popularity or enough feed back a smaller ES can be chromed.
But will the ex a cosmic blast or just a switch out hand with cosmic energy effect?

I vote for Quantum Bands as the EX, even though he only wore them in a one-off.
