Yeah for whatever reason Hot Toys has trouble bringing female portraits to life the way they can most of the time with their male figs.

I'd kill for that. Heck, I'd love it even if they only made 1:6 statues. Anything, as long as it's not articulated figures, which I'm not into at all. Surely there has to be a market for that.

the "dead" stare is also what concerns me the most about this statue... will see reveal pictures next week.. she also be in the sideshow live on wednesday !

The head sculpt on this looks horrible right now. The statue is expressionless. The face needs to have SOME character to sell this and right now she is a department store mannequin.

This is a nice concept. I'd be tempted to get this as a standalone "Sci Fi" piece as I don't want to jump into the Star Wars collecting pit.
I love how this is mostly mixed media and she's not showing much skin! This should give SS a good opportunity to get it right.
I'm really excited for this.
