Display Cases?

Hey all. I've been trying to figure out my options for displaying XM's 1:4 scale statues. Magneto will not fit in my current case and so he unfortunately has to go back into the box until I find something suitable. How is everyone else choosing to display him? I'm aware that ikea bestas are a very popular choice for collectors but was wondering what my other options are.

I know bestas will be too small once XM starts rolling out Phoenix. I was thinking about looking into display tables and then having a custom glass or acrylic display cover installed. Ideas? I'll need something large and sturdy to hold up these behemoths.

Ikea pax with just the frame of the sliding doors and acrylic front is the best non customized way to displat 1/4 imo

And great bang for your buck too

I am using the IKEA STUVA shelves, they are great, and Mags fits perfectly, with enough room to put in a glass door when i find one.

It was more cost effective for me to enroll in a wood working class and build my own case. For the time being this is how he's displayed.

Next I'll add drywall to the frame and pickup some tempered glass shelves

My buddha display unit cost roughly $70 in materials as opposed to my other display units which cost significantly more

Just Google for Ikea STUVA, then go to frames.

Nice setup! I've been considering this for my basement. I've now exhausted the display room for shelves in my bedroom, so trying to decide how I want to proceed from here.

In one hand the Ikea stuff is great to be able to move the shelves around and quickly setup, but on the other I can make such a nice stained wood setup, it'll just probably be a b*#ch to move when I leave this house which is what is deterring me from this option till I get in a more permanent house.

Agree. But if you have kids be cautious, besta's displaying high end collectibles weren't design to sustain impacts from small children...lol
