Well, unfortunately what I expected has happened..
MK10 it's a whole turn of events from MK9, you can tell it from Sub Zero's and Scorpion's new attires and from those completely new characters.
MK9, on the other hand, was a retelling of the first three, most popular chapters of Mortal Kombat; everything from stages to characters was an updated and more detailed version from the original games, and character outfits were meant to be THE definitive costumes as far as the original characters were concerned.
Now, with the new MK10 costumes being so different, I'm busted that I will never be able to get characters like Sindel, Jade, Ermac in their awesome yet 'classic' MK9 attire.
AND I can't even start collecting the classic line, since many pieces are already long gone.
After a very difficult start (between Scorpion awkward pose and the controversial bases) the recent PCS releases (Kahn, Sub Zero, Baraka) were finally starting to bring justice to the MK9 line, despite the buzz had been long killed by the announcement of the line demise in favour of the MK10 one.
It pains to me that this wonderful line has to come to an end, and I'm sure there must be other MK fans thinking the same way.
So I say let's show our support for the MK9 line loud and clear, perhaps if our demand is strong enough we may convince Jerry that the line could well co-exist with the one from the new game, much like what is happening now for the klassik and MK9 lines.
