Wait, were his eyes yellow in the movie?
That just looks off to me...

Otherwise looks great, the switch in the headsculpt is definitely a miss, though.
This isn't a Hot Toy, after all... lol.

It’s not yellow, the eyes light up red.

And unfortunately the light up and switch in the head was almost always guaranteed to have been done that way, especially nowadays. You have to remember this is also the company where the arc reactors haven’t been wired to light up in conjunction with the rest of the lights in their Iron Man bust pieces.

Shouldn't they be lighting up white, or a bluish-white?

Red doesn't sound right, either.

Yep, screen shot attached. Bluish white light.
Why would it be red? It's not instant kill eyes.

There are original promotional shots where the eyes light up red. There may be a switch where it lights up with either white or red.

They originally said the Gauntlet was also a light up feature..but don’t see any photos with that on..hope that’s still a thing.

Well I just paid it off over at Sugo, so hopefully I should be receiving it in the next few days or so.

EDIT: Shipped.

I just unboxed it and here are my initial thoughts.

It looks great, and it scales with the rest of their 1/4 scale pieces. Which also means they’re much smaller than my Iron Studios pieces.

Given they were showing near identical unmasked TH head sculpts for this and their Civil War piece, I was wondering if they were going to differentiate between the two or not. And they did, by simply making it battle damage….or at least by making his face all dirty. Given I’ve been displaying the Civil War piece with the unmasked head sculpt I’ll probably display this one with the masked sculpt.

I'm a bit iffy about how they designed the seam for the masked head. There isn’t so much a gap, but a wider than usual black panel line separating the head and neck.

Much like the Civil War piece the unmasked sculpt doesn’t have any such issues.

The listed measurements was that it was 38cm deep, but unfortunately that was way off. It’s closer to 50cm or more! So I won’t be able to fit it where I originally wanted to…..Or I may just remove the spider arm that’s pointing outwards.

It has two light up features. One being the head of course and the other being the Nano Gauntlet. It doesn’t come with any batteries, but I had a stockpile of button cell batteries that worked. It asked for I think L1154F batteries (I wasn’t familiar with that model) but I just used the LR43/44 batteries that I had. Though the lights weren’t very bright but that might just have to do with my batteries being 3 or so years old.

I’ve got a couple of issues with mine unfortunately, but they’re probably unique to mine so I won’t mention them.

And unfortunately I wasn’t able to take any good photos. I may try over the weekend.

And has anyone ever seen one of these before? As I’ve got over a dozen Queen Studio pieces and I’ve never received an Authentication Card before.

I’m assuming it has something to do with their Master Series line?

This thing is beautiful. Just unboxed and extremely happy. My Iron Spider itch is well and truly scratched.
