ECCC 2014 Haul - Thanks to Cam!

Today seems like a good day to post art hauls

Massive thanks to Cameron aka punisher1919 (and his gf) for the great haul that he managed to snag for me! He must have been in total beast mode to snag himself 13 pieces and also run around and grab me my six pieces. Either he was incredibly organized or he was running over con goers at the show

Apologies in advance for the crappy cell phone pics.

My big one for the show was Siya Oum. I’ve been in love with her and her work since people on the forum started posting her art. I thought I was out of the running for a piece from her but somehow Cam managed to pull a rabbit out a hat on this one! Had her contribute to my Bat-ladies jam:

Freddie Williams is one of my favorite artists and I had to have him on my Bat-villains jam:

Robbi Rodriguez is also one of those artists whose work I love. I thought he would be great on the Macho Man on my Legends of Wrestling Jam (Oooh yeahh!):

Alessandro Vitti is also a personal favorite. He did a massive Colossus to kick-off my Xmen jam:

Matteo Scalera always brings the energy on his pieces. Of course I had to have him for a Batman:

And finally, the great surprise for the show for me – a gift of an 11x17 Joker piece by Jock!! Jock is one of those artists that I would race to if he were showing up at a show that I was attending. Incredible generosity by Cam and his gf for hooking me up with this!

C2E2 is right around the corner – hopefully it treats us all as well as Emerald City did!

A great looking haul. I had the chance to see some of these with Cam at the show, and happened to catch Siya finishing up your Gotham Ladies Jam as she started into my Rocketeer. It is truly stunning work! I'm sure you will be very happy with the result in person!

Congrats! That haul is especially impressive, since you did it remotely. I really like how the Gotham sirens and bat villain pieces are shaping up!

Just glad I could help, Buddy. I was just stoked that I got to see all these in person and that you trusted me enough with the Caldwell, Rocafort, and Now Siya piece…its trying to take a run at your J Scott piece for best Jam.

Every piece came out great. Love Teo's work as always and I was just blown away by Freddie's cool tones on the Freeze piece, really sets it off.

And as for Siya, I can't say enough good things about her, just a beast all weekend, hammering out pieces. She's quiet, unassuming, humble, and incredibly nice….If i wasn't a big fan of hers before ECCC, I definitely am now.

Lookin forward to C2E2, Buddy!
