DC Direct's 2012 Reveals

This site has a lot of pics from what I assume is a new DC Direct catalog or something. They reveal a lot of upcoming product for The Dark Knight Rises (figures, statues, and busts), as well as new releases in the Ame-Comi, Cover Girls, Batman Black & White and other lines.

Sadly, it looks like the Cover Girls statues are switching over to a New 52 focus rather than providing characters everyone is still clamoring for. I give up on the Death statue ever being produced.

Wow! Thanks for sharing Kicksplode! I had written DCD off as dead but they do look to have some pretty sweet offerings and line continuations in the works.

I am interested to get a better look at some of those B&W and the Covergirl pieces.

I was really surprised to like the TDKR statues as much as I do but I imagine I will let one of the high end figure companies like HT's scratch that itch.

Amazed that they are doing another Museum Batman piece. Even more so that it is based on a defunct and very specific version of Batman.

Looks like AH is done with the cover girls, and if thats a new WW as a cover girl statue line it looks like its all down hill from here with raven.

All tho the WW bust looks decent.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

The Anne Hathaway Catwoman looks interesting to say the least. The new Cover Girls Wonder Woman looks absolutely hideous and too emaciated! I wonder how the new Poison Ivy statue is going to turn out. The new Catwoman statue is based on Jim Lee's artwork? I would have preferred the Cover Girls line remained consistent with Adam Hughes' artwork and now it looks like the statues may be based on various artists' artwork?

I too was surprised at how bad WW is and how good the busts look.

They may all be based on Lee's artwork now since he did so many of the costume redesigns. I'm not a fan of how they seem to be switching from understated pinup poses to more action-oriented poses. They're essentially just normal, slightly undersized statues now.

The base on the new WW statue looks like whipped cream!

Busts all look digital, which is why they are looking decent. Im sure they are going this route for the whole line and prob will see them produced faster then what DC has done in the past.

Well its not Adam Hughes anymore, so all that pinup is gone for the line.

This Wonder Woman looks so bad.. The face doesn't look appealing and the base is cloud... The other Wonder Woman bust looks pretty decent though
