It was weird knowing that David's 2nd in command was played by the actor that played Joel in the game.

Yeah, certain lines made my brain go "Joel?"
He did well and glad they honor the games roots like that.

I had no idea that was him - that’s really cool!! It’s been so long since I’ve played the games that his voice doesn’t register with me anymore. Ellie I can hear clearly, but not Joel.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Just finished part 1 remastered on grounded. What a masterpiece. Although they changed a few things with the series, It's still well done. Here's to Joel letting loose in Salt lake.
Last of Us 2 was a travesty story wise.

A couple weeks behind so I just saw the mall episode and one thing that bugs the hell out of me is that nobody seems to react when they get bitten, obviously I don’t live in a mushroom apocalypse but I’d think if a person bit a chunk of flesh off of my body i would react in an audibly pained way and it wouldn’t wait for a dramatically impactful reveal to draw attention to said flesh stripped area of my body.

I think a lot of that can be chalked up to adrenaline coursing through your body tends to shrug off the initial pain. I know MMA fighters that have had broken bones and were not aware until the adrenaline levels in their body lowered. Same with soldiers shot in firefights and not realizing until things calm down.

When executing people in the hospital, Joel was absolutely clinical (no pun intended)...just ice cold, like a terminator. Great season, just hope it doesn't take forever before Season 2 arrives...get on it HBO!

It was extremely close to what happened in the game - a lot of it scene-for-scene, so I already knew what was going to happen.
