I'm not seeing it. I'm seeing Disney heavily impact Marvel's decisions of late. Remember how cool the Avengers cartoon was before Disney bought them? Now all their animation based shows are watered down and crap imo. Punisher will get Netflix series at best assuming the projects already green lighted do well.

Cartoons and comics are different beasts, though.

I am hoping for a reprint.

Other Marvel Omnis got reprintet. Even Marvel Masterworks voume 1s are being reprinted at the moment. Fantastic Four vol 1 and Doctor Strange vol 1 will be released here in January.

I remember when The Max titles were sold right there w/ the regular Marvel stuff. In one Punisher' Max, Calling a lifer in Prison "Squeaky ... 'cause he doesn't use lube when he "(fill in the blank _____)... killed his wife that way." I can't see as ever cutting it again in comics form, and this is not an extreme example by any means. One irate parent who's kid buys something with a description like that w/ The Disney name associated with it, could cause alotta damage by yelling about it.

Comics still mean "for kids" to a lot of people & I'll bet The Mouse is on this stuff, going through it w/ a fine-tooth-comb. Comics are they're new cash cow in movies, merchandising, cartoons, theme parks soon I bet. No way is this stuff going to fly anymore with Marvel. Everything will get softer; less blood, less violence, less death.

I've had the Alias Omnibus for years, when it first was published. It's brilliant both in story and art.

The Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon Punisher MAX came out as an Omnibus. I have not thought about that until now.

I don't have it and I don't know if Aaron's Punisher is as tough as the stuff Garth Ennis did.

It's a MAX series, it's an Omnibus and Disney let that one through.

I loved Aaron's Punisher MAX though I recall Jerry wasn't a fan of it. I'd buy the Omnibus if I didn't already have the whole thing in HC volumes.

I dearly lament the passing of the prior Avengers cartoon. I've got the whole run on disk and it's available on Netflix. But the new cartoon is pure drek and Marvel should be ashamed to have canceled the first one, which was so good and so true to their books, for this garbage.
