I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Fan made photoshop of Freya as Ciri. I don't think she'll start with the scar, but you get the idea of seeing her with the distinct hair. It's a long shot, but if the show is a success may see these interpretations of characters become statues someday.

I may be wrong but I have very low expectations about this.

Prime1 said anything new about the 1/3 scale Geralt? first yes later no now yes... Perhaps they do it at the time of the series. Should I ask them to end with this uncertainty?

Actress to play Ciri looks like a good choice, wish I could say the same for Yennefer's. Why they would choose a teenage-looking 21-year-old for the role is beyond me.

Honestly, there's been so much confusion about whether or not 1/3 is planned, that I don't even know anymore either. I thought they had said (in the Facebook group) that 1/3 was contingent on whether or not the Alt Geralt and Alt Yen would sell well. In other words, the 1/4 line needs to do well in order for us to have a shot at the 1/3 even be considered.

The books describe Yennifer as looking fairly young (I want to say early 20's). I think the game's portrayal is hard to reconcile with what we are going to see. You may have already known this, but the series is supposed to be based on the books and not the games. I'm guessing casting was done with that in mind.

Make up and costuming can go a long ways though. Guess we'll see.

IMO Ciri is really the only character who should look significantly younger. Yen is still a grown-@ss woman with a lot of life experience in the books that I don't see being portrayed well by someone so young. In his mid-thirties, Henry Cavill is fairly easy to age up and portray a more mature Geralt. Perhaps the showrunners are just catering to Cavill's preference for the barely legal look.
