It's one of my favorites, for sure. They need to put him in a movie like Marvel did with Vision. Then love will magically appear.

IMO a lot of people are under impression the statue needs to be 1/4 or bigger. I myself think 1/6 is ideal. Not to say that bigger pieces aren’t great but for people like me 1/6 is the perfect blend of quality and price. Not to mention space is issue for a lot of people.

I love looking at this guy in people’s collections. MM is floating his way to your secret stash of Oreos.

I am with you on the 1/6th scale.

I was a 1/4 scale collector but I have now seen the light. For the money/detail/space, a true 1/6th scale statue is superior in my book.

Positives
1. The boxes don't take up as much space.
2. The weight makes the statues easier for rearranging.
3. The amount of statues you can display together in a smaller space.
4. Easier on the wallet.
5. Larger characters are easier to keep proportional.
6. I like displaying my statues with my comics and sometimes I feel the 1/4 statues overshadow the books.

Negatives
?

All true, but when I compare my 1/6 pieces to my 1/4, they just don’t have the same impact in a room.

Individually no, but as a group? I think they definitely can. Especially when you consider how many characters will never be produced in 1:4 scale.

With rising costs, I think TH is ahead of the curve. Technology allows more details on smaller scales. MMH has changed my whole collecting direction. These things are just too awesome, not to mention so easy to lift. Plus, I can put 6 or 7 of these across a typical dresser or bookshelf.

IMO the impact is achieved by the way you are displaying your collection not the size... but again I do no own a single 1/4 piece. All I can say is when I look at my P1 TDKR and compare it to my TH statues I don't see where the quality on P1 is 3x better than on TH. My opinion might not be unbiased as I love what Tweeterhead is doing and they have my full support (plus I'm not rich enough to collect $500+ pieces from other companies).

I have kept 4 of my 1/4 pieces to make room for Super Powers. The 1/4's have their own shelf and they always get the first looks when entering my office. The bigger my 1/6 collection gets I suspect it will start getting a lot of the first looks because of the variety of characters in a smaller space.
