How to post big pic's, not thumbnails

How can I post pictures without making them thumbnails?

I'm planning on posting pictures of my collection soon so if anyone can help me out...
I can always post them small but its nicer and more convinient big.

Just don't make them TOO big, it kills bandwidth

When pics are posted though something like tinypic does it use the same amount of bandwidth as when pics are attached?

the only way to do that is through an image hosting site. That's what skullsplitter did in the post directly above. I use photobucket. You can set up an account for free and you will be given so much space to upload your images. You can then directly link to them in your posts and you will see the image like the one's above. There are several hosting sites in addition to the one I mentioned. Imageshack is another. Do some research and find one you are happy with. They will all only give you so much space for free. If you upgrade your account you get a lot more. I think photobucket charges you $25 for a year upgrade and you get something like 1 gig of space.

No when you link to a hosting site since the picture resides on the other site there really are no bandwidth issues. When you upload thumbnails from your hard drive the pictures are actually stored on the statueforum server and then you will use bandwidth.
