Help on Storage

I am putting my house up for sale in a week or two. All of the realtors who have looked at the house have told me basically I should pack up the statue room as many buyers will see the statues and not the room and be distracted from the house. I have lots of life size busts and Premium Formats. I heard putting them in attic and or basement is a no no as it will grow mold on the cloth.

Any ideas?

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

Mold on the cloth? Are you just planning to move your pieces (as is) temporarily or go through the packing process.

I would look into climate controlled storage, whether is a temp/perm thing.

I'm in a similar situation, but for a different reason. My only viable options are attic or basement. Climate-controlled storage is really not an option. People have really gotten mold on PFs from basement storage?

Look at post #27 of this thread:

I guess I could get self storage just rough paying like a 100 bucks a month for it. Also some statues I have with cloth do not have boxes so that is also worrysome

yeah temp controlled storage may be the best bet, Public storage is usually $1 for the first month..don't know if they still do that.

boxes should be fine, I stored mine for about 9 months, no issues, I wouldn't risk placing them on shelves, who knows what could happen.

np, I feel your pain, hated having to package them up, I was without my statue/toy/movie collection for a total of 14 months, it was painful, but like a HUGE christmas when I opened them back up and displayed them all...it was great!
