Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Shipping Statues

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend where to buy boxes and packing peanuts or the like for shipping statues. I was thinking Walmart or perhaps a Uhaul type place. Thought I'd just ask the experts.

Thanks

ups store

If you look through the yellow pages you should find a shipping material store which will be ALOT cheaper than the ups store, I bought 6 ft of bubble wrap and a box and it cost $18! Didn't even fill up the box

UPS stores sell BIG bags of peanuts around here for $24. Damn thing hardly fits in my car. Well worth it.

Staples sells big boxes in sets of 3-4. They are usually connected together, so make sure you get them connected or you will pay for one box when the price is for 4 or so.

home Depot sells bubble wrap slightly cheaper then staples sometimes. They also have boxes but they are to thin for shipping.

USPS.com has the flat rate boxes for free, can just order them thru USPS.com. they will ship directly to your house.

As for bubble wrap i have yet to find a spot where i can get it cheap enough. I keep looking tho.

I used to have a nice shipping place where I lived
5-6 ft tall bag of peanuts for $20, HUGE roll of bubble wrap for around $40, boxes VERY well priced a fraction of the costs usps was...sucks, I haven't found too many around here, but also haven't really looked that hard since do not ship as much as I used to.
