Hey y'all, just received my Mondo Rocketeer exclusive. This is my first Mondo statue and overall I'm quite happy with it. Received #1040/1155, after seeing some of the photos about Betty portrait, I was concerned. The color on my two Betty portraits is surprisingly good IMO. The regular Betty portrait is a little dark but I find it acceptable, the exclusive is a bit lighter than the reg, I think it's very close to what Mondo intended it to be. Could just be hit or miss for paint quality from them. Overall I'm happy with it. Only gripe I have is Mondo does not number the bottom of the statues only the boxes, kind of a bummer for a numbered Edition.

His portraits do look a little better but you can still tell in his pictures the colors are still off... Looks like they painted the portraits one day and all the bodies another day using different paints..

I emailed Mondo yesterday morning asking if I could return the piece because of the skin tones not matching and because I wasn't happy with the likeness, but haven't heard back.
Has anyone had any experience attempting a return to Mondo?

I'm still waiting to hear back from them about getting replacements. This was my first order from them. I seem to remember seeing an "All sales are final" on their website somewhere.

Generally, when a vendor tells me that all sales are final, it's my final purchase.

You should definitely get replacement heads or a straight up refund if the flesh tones are drastically different.
