Here is another commission I had done where the look I was going for was done in reverse, and I did not want a true mirror image since most sketches don’t resemble the final product. Most of the statues come from a vision sketch or a comic cover, and with Moore’s/Keown’s PITT statue there was never a published image that resembled that pose. The only one that came close was the one on the statue box, and that art was from PITT issue #2. So I asked Christopher Ivy to take on the task of creating a cover image based on the pose from the statue, and the end results are pictured below. I feel he did an amazing job, and I look forward to having this framed behind the 4 PITT statues I own.
