Making and selling your Customs - How does it works?

Hi guys!
Lets say you create a 1/4 scale statue of a character from a movie and, once it is finished and painted, people really like it. So you have several potential buyers. You decide to make and sell about 10 copies to satisfy everyone (each about 500$) Is this legit? Do you need an agreement with the license that owns the rights on the movie? Otherwise it would be making counterfeit products?

Let me sum it up for you:

OOAK (one of a kind) of a piece you don't have the license for and not intented to sell: yes

More copies: no, unless you have the license to make more (in order to sell)

Now don't get yourself banned will ya.

Ok pretty much what I thought, then I will probably not sell it and keep it for myself
