Good win for the Red Sox! AROD en fuego but Rivera falls apart and wastes a good effort by Pettite.

Bah! First Yanks game that I get to watch in it's entirety (I don't get the YES Network, so it's only the forth or fifth game that has been televised) and they lose.
Still, it was still an exciting game to watch.

I stopped watching after the 2nd ARod homer - switched to the Indians/DRays and Mets/Braves. Wish I would have stuck with it (but then I likely would have jinxed the Sox).
Today on the talk shows everyone ws whining that Rivera is finished. NY is just too funny with how quickly the "fans" (meaning people who are uneducated about baseball) turn on the players.

You owe most of your championships to Rivera, who didn't blow an important save for so long.
Oh, and Yanks suck! down with the evil empire.

we owe it all to rivera...torre, not so much. he's always sucked with bullpen management, and continues to destroy the trust in every other pitcher leading up to rivera. he said rivera wasn't going to be used for more then 3 outs anymore. that he trusts all the guys in the pen..15 games in and he's already told them to go **** themselves. get him the **** out of NY now, before he destroys another pitching career(Lloyd, Nelson, Sturtz, Villone)
oh yeah...any one that Boos AROD, or MOE, the two greatest at their position, isn't a yankee fan..he's a pariah and a douche bag.
