Still, he's putting up some amazing numbers (and I'm a Red Sox fan). 13 homers in 15 games coming into this Sunday? Incredible.

That is incredible! A Rod may pass Aaron before Bonda at this rate....

Rather A Rod did it than Bonds....

I saw a sports poll once that said Yankees-Red Sox was the greatest rivalry in all of sports. Using that logic, does that mean the hammer-nail is the greatest rivalry in all of construction?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

sounds about right...it's an ever losing battle for the little guys. there's a bit a hope, every now and then someone pounds their thumb, and the nail breaths a sigh of relief.

I think its only 12 HRs, but yes he is on fire. Of course, he is the best player in baseball since Barry Bonds so I am never surprised by him. I just always find it amusing that NYers have the opportunity to watch a player who likely is a top 10 player of all time on a daily basis and rather than rallying around him (similar to SF fans and Bonds) they boo and insult him.

I have seen similar polls and generally they all conclude that several of the College football rivalries trump anything that the pros have to offer.

The Yankees looked lost at times during this series and they are definitley hurting with their bullpen. While unlikely, I would love to see TB get the better of them in a game or two this week.
