Congrats Scott - that's a really incredible piece from Colin! It always amazes me how flawlessly he approaches anything Star Wars related or cowboy related like Blueberry (he doesn't need reference to do horses!). Great stuff!

Very nice pieces all around (from those I saw online via FB or CAF)

Scotty was kind enough to collect these two badass pieces on my behalf, which I had pre-arranged with Matthew Clark:

I'm kinda bummed that there's no more cons for Perth until next year

Wasn't the best con for my haul this year….esp in comparison to last year's…anyways, i managed to pick up my Colin Wilson pre con piece…totally happy with it. Think I might have to go for a companion piece for the next con from him.

Awaiting for Doug Holgate to sketch a Rocket. Will post it up when i get my sketchbook back.

Cem - great work from Matt, my fave is the Rogue!

Terence - Colin did some knock-out pieces at this show and your DD was one of them!

Thanks Bud! I'm hoping to get a companion piece next.

Man am I behind the times. Didn't even know there was an Aussie thread until someone mentioned it elsewhere in the forum recently. Guess I need to get out (of my usual sections) a bit more!

Tbh I wasn't even overly aware of the Oz comic con until recently as I stopped collecting comics a few years back so don't see or hear much about what's going on and so I've only ever attended armageddon / supanova. Anywayafter a recent bad experience at Supanova I decided to look for other cons to attend / blow my money at. This looks like a pretty good choice by all accounts.

Out of interest, for those that have attended the Sydney con in the past, would you advise spending money on a priority pass or not? I was mainly planning to go to get some stuff signed for my Dad by Will Shatner if that makes a difference.

Loving those Colin Wilson pieces btw congrats guys!

Scott

I can highly recommend the Priority Pass if you are planning to get autographs or photos with any of the media guests. It would definitely make a difference with how long you would have to wait in line for Bill Shatner.
