I've enjoyed Synder's work on Batman since Detective.

The James Gordon stuff I thought was quite a genius idea. Also let's not forget Jock's fine artwork putting the pieces together on each issue. Honestly I think Synder and Jock are a great duo like Morrison and Frank Quietly.

BTW in All-Star Western, the bad guy's house in Gotham, who was this rich guy, had a ton of stuffed Owls inside. I thought that was a pretty cool connection.

Having never been much of a fan of the Batman comics prior to this, I hadn't planned on picking this title up. A mix-up at my LCS put a copy of Batman #2 in my hold-list when it originally came out. I picked up #1, read them back to back and put it on my hold-list immediately. Definitely one of the best books out there right now!

One of the few new DC storylines I've heard good things about. Will check it out on tpb in the near future.

Agree with you guys(Ryu, DSET and Wizard), Snyder run in Detective is so fricking great.

And of this New 52 Batman Series my favorite Issue without doubt is # 2.
