If I were you guys, I would start bombarding SS with requests for a switch-out. I'm thinking that without that fancy label of Maquette there may not be anything. It would be super easy to do some hands though, there is a built in seam line with the gloves.

I do agree with your assessment of the BAMF. His hold body is part of the action, not just his feet like this moment in time implies. They are going for flying through the air and don't want to block his tail and such, but if the sentinel hand was a little higher up it could look more like a full body BAMF.

I find it difficult to be excited over a Sideshow piece knowing the ES will be astronomical. It's almost like playing the waiting game with everything Sideshow is the best action.

As is I?m absolutely fine with everything about this. I think we?d all make little tweaks to any statue if given the opportunity.

Swap out hands would be cool, swords might even be the Ex, but I?m good with the swords. Shorter, curly/wavy/messy/spiked hair would be cool, and we could see those fangs, but the head shown is completely fine.

I feel the pose and teleporting effect work. I picture X2?d opening?he?s already moving and teleports while mid movement. In this case he?s jumping forward, teleports mid jump, and comes out the end of teleporting still mid jump, moving up and out of the smoke. Works for me.

I love Nightcrawler. And I think this statue does him justice. This is what I wanted in a 1/4 Nightcrawler statue. I?ve had several smaller Nightcrawler statues but now this is the ONE!

Looks awesome, need a smirk or a growl in the portrait though.

Looks like i guessed correct.
This is the first Harbottle piece in a while.

Sideshow should hand Will Harbottle the task of creating a 1/4 Vampirella (based the recent Sideshow art print)

He did the Rey PF revealed at Sideshow-Con, and the portrait on the new Storm PF.

Those are some pretty bad seams on the BAMF. Looks like a puzzle.
