If your talking about Beware the Batman then yeah she's different in that show... In the Cartoon she's an ex-member of the League of Assassins but in the comics I believe her training came from clans in Japan.
She was in the first several books of Birds of Prey then she got her own comic... I'm not 100% sure but I think she's now in Justice League of America book...

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Katana looks good! My exposure to the character is pretty much nonexistent, so I can't say I'll be picking her up but it definitely makes me optimistic about future releases.
I was looking over a full list of the DC reveals at tomopop, and apparently Mera is next up in the Cover Girls line(no picture). Heavily anticipating the visual reveal for her.

I just got Katana today and its a beautiful statue. There is very little bleeding, the colors are bold and consistent and it just looks great. I made a few pictures but they are not very good. I don't display my statues because the floor of my flat is made of wood and rather thin. whenever i walk by something its shaking, i wouldn't want my statues to topple over. Hopefully i find a new place to live soon.
