Star Wars Classics

Saw these today at the LCS -- Boba, Tie and fish guy. And gotta say that while I was and am not a fan of the concept, and am sick of GG's antics, these actually looked pretty cool. Much more detailed than the pix lead you to believe. Yep the lack of arms is annoying, and they do have a salt shaker quality to them, but I could definitely see a kid or someone without a lot of available space getting into the line. All three looked nice, but have to keep in mind that no humans have been represented yet, and they have enough problems getting the likenesses down in the 1/6 scale. Still don't know what they don't have a tie pilot or fish guy bust for the regular line.

The thing is that Tie Pilot,Kit Fisto,Hammerhead,Snowtrooper and Amidala would be great as regular busts. I just hope they don't write them off now they have been done as these little classic busts.

They've done a mini-statue of Darth Maul and a 12 incher as well. I think that just because a character has been done nearly the same but in a different size doesnt make them a write off.

I get what you're saying, but a statue and a bust are two different things.
The problem is the classic line are busts, which in my opinion are inferior to the regular line of star wars busts.

Just saw these in my LCS today as well and I must admit I was impressed with them as well. Weirdly they look a lot more detailed than their bigger brothers and painted to a much higher spec as well. I was tempted but for £25 each it was an easy pass. The biggest problem is their size. They're just too small.
