Because if you mean "leave it off", as not have it be on the statue at all, I think that'd be a mistake.
If accuracy cannot be preserved it's not a good choice for an EX.

I personally wouldn't care if it was left out, as I have zero attachment to this alt. That said, this alt, with it's Oni mask, is incredibly cool - so back to Jerry's argument about "cool vs nostalgia".
All THAT said...I was just meaning that I hope the customer can leave it off. That's why I said "you" and not "PCS" or "Jerry".
As for magnet, I'd rather not have one embedded on visible skin. More potential problems for the factory to fill/paint. Besides, it looks like the strap over the shoulder is what's holding it on. Hopefully that's not sculpted on, as I'd remove both.
As you guys say though, it's not as obstructive in the stance we're getting, and maybe this costume was a factor in that decision. So I'll definitely give the accessory a chance.
I wasn't planning on buying two Oni's, but now I am. Love the mask.
