SS > XM 1st Thanos but XM 2nd Thanos > SS

Just way more details on XM's plus the option of adding Lady Death is cheery on top... SS Thanos on the throne is just a bit boring to look at...

IMO

Wow that’s crazy, glad I have pre ordered from my retailer in Singapore. I have calculated, with shipping cost and customs taxes, I should pay around 2000€ in total.

Thanos vs Thanos, SS takes it. If you factor in TOTAL price for XM dio ($2200.00 shipped), then that would leave enough $ room for Harbottle to sculpt Lady Death to accompany Thanos on Throne. In that case, SS would destroy this version. Though I love where XM is taking this industry, the portraits and execution sometimes fall short.
The fact that SS is hollow and had terrible QC. No switch outs except one head that forces people to pay thousands for an ex . His awkward angled pose in the throne . The armour details and paint on both almost look identical . You can argue ones busier than the other they both are .

As a unit Death and Thanos is amazing . Even alone Thanos has more presence . He should look big and mean . The throne thing should have ended with Doom. It’s been choked to death.

I never got the hype of the SS TOT. Never grabbed me.

This did immediately.

Same here. Sadly I got caught up in the hype and pre-ordered it. Cancelled down the line. Lost my deposit. Never gonna happen again. Savor the flavor Sideshow. This piece is nuts. I'm still on the fence because of the price. I already have an expensive piece on a payment plan and I really like that 1/3 Thor. I'm still making up my mind.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

How long does the preorder usually stay open? Anyone have any info? I’m just asking because I don’t wanna miss out, it’s an amazing piece and the holidays are holding me back from preordering at the moment.

If I am looking at the statue on it's on merits as a piece of art - this thing beats the SS ToT. However, if I'm looking for something to represent Thanos from the comics - I still personally prefer the SS ToT. I think they are both great statues.

I believe they are keeping all of their pre-orders up for a period of two months still. But, has the official PO even started for this yet?
