If they can nail the "modern" look it'd be a grail! Don't have anything against the classic outfit, but it's way to simple for Iron Man nowadays.
I gotta be honest I don't like the new design style. I hate to say this, but there is to much of the artists individual style in them, and it is throwing off the "classic" look.

Oh... I hadn't even caught that ... That is BAD from a design integration point of you... This should be changed

Dunno. Imho Cap works better with the flag, so he's not pointing at anyone, Thor with spinning hammer and pointing hand, and pretty sure this IM will have an at rest arm, the MK42 had it as a switch out.

At least mirror the image so that the opposite hand is up and out though... lol

I'm assuming this will have a light up feature on Iron man, I think adding some flickering lights on the destroyed Ultron bots would look fantastic as well.

This reminds me of the look of Iron man from the Earth's mightiest heroes show, a modern suit with the classic look.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Think of it like this, Thor is pointing at the enemy making his usual boast.

Thor: Foul knave, you dare challenge the son of Odin!? I have faced off against.....
Iron man: Save it goldielocks, I got him!

I can see that and I think it works. His abdomen depicted as plates instead of the classic sculpted muscles is more realistic and makes more sense. One of the reasons I enjoy XM is the refreshingly new vision applied to heroes and villains we know and love.
