Indiana Jones and The Gentle Giant

I am really surprised that the Bronze plated version of the Indiana Jones on Horseback item is still up for sale. At a limit of 500 I was sure that it would be gone in a couple of months. Of course, that was six months ago.

I also see that the Australian Indy Exclusive Bust is still up for sale, while the Qui-Gon (let's make a buck off a clear resin mold of an older bust) sold out very quickly.

Perhaps the Indiana Jones stuff just isn't all that super popular anymore.

(Doesn't really matter to me, as long as I still get the statue.)

Indiana Jones & the Search for a Decent Likeness.

That's why I think the stuff isn't selling personally.

Agreed. A lot of the merchandise that's being produced right now have some sort of likeness issue.

So far, there have only been a couple of items that have caught my eye, such as the Medicom figures, the Gentle Giant statue with the whip and the Sideshow Premium Format statue... not much else has really struck me as being a decent resemblance, though.

Was wondering when this would ship

I ordered mine in April. Shortly thereafter, it was listed as "sold out." I'm not sure how it's now available again but I can't imagine there are many left.

When I ordered, it was expected in July. Now I see it's shipping in November. We'll see.

at least with the bronze version you don't have to worry that much with likeness as it is all one colour whereas the painted version it is easier to fault it
