The fact that they cancelled Viking Thor blows. But this one sure as heck makes up for it.

Weíre talking about this one. XM didnít get enough preorders to justify moving forward...

“Wanted” and “Did” are two different things. I think there were a lot of people who “wanted” this statue, but “did” not actually follow through on the ordering when the PO was open.

It was expressly stated that the Viking Thor had to have enough POs to be made, not after production orders. Hence it being canceled.

I hardly PO anymore, if companies are still relying on that I think it's a mistake. Look at how many amazing statues are releasing! I can't afford any for a while until I start selling/downsizing but I still enjoy checking out the new pieces coming out.

Everybody knows it had nothing to do with the number of orders....

Iím torn with this piece. Absolutely love the design/concept, but am not crazy about Thorís portrait and how they sculpted his hair(too many uniform strands with no flow). His chest & torso appear a little undersized, but the Destroyer base is epic.

This is really an amazing piece!

I also think that the Viking Thor was is absolutely amazing and it's a shame it never went into production, that would probably have been the Thor for me.
