Impressive piece! I shudder at the cost and wonder what kind of fan appeal a potentially $700-1200 piece of this nature would have.

Didn't GG sculpt that Daenaerys bust for Dark Horse or am I making things up in my head? If so then maybe they made this bust too but it's not "theirs" to produce or sell.

They probably couldn't get the license. I would think we would have seen this for order from somebody by now. Unless, it's a SDCC reveal.

Since Gentle Giant does 3D scanning work that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with statues, I wonder if the bust was more a memento of work they did for the movie rather than something intended for commercial release. They still should have known they were getting people's hopes up if that was the case.
