I like it. It is so Deadpool and Deadpool is essentially jokey as a character, is he not?

But, mighty steep the price.

They could have done so much more with this, instead you are paying $150-$175 for a scooter....not the definitive deadpool for me at all.

I love it! I think it represents the character perfectly!

Price tag is pretty steep though.

Haven't been posting for awhile.
Thought i'd drop in with some comments about this awesome piece.

Deadpool is such a diverse character so what do you want when asking for a definitive version?
Angry Deadpool?
Joker Deadpool?
Cool Deadpool?
Museum pose?
Serious Deadpool?

I think what they have sculpted is the definitive Deadpool for me. His face looks cool

The head sculpt has an intense look and doesn't just look like a plain old mask. But what sells this is the pose. The way he is sitting is pretty awesome and emulates character.
Loaded with weapons. That BFG!
That little red scooter just drives the silliness of Deadpool home.
Only gripe i have is that his right foot looks too stiff. With a gigantic gun sitting on his thigh, i would think his leg would be less stiff to accommodate the weight.

Pity they shot themselves with the pricing. I believe this would have gotten a much more positive response had the price been easier on the wallet.

Depending on the ES, this should do quite well on the aftermarket a la' Trinity on Bike.
Definitely one piece to look out for.

Just hope that Gentle Giant doesn't screw this up cos' the proto paints and casting are top notch.

Deadpool himself looks great, whoever sculpted it did a great job, I just don't see him as a character I want a statue of sitting on a scooter, maybe I don't read enough of the comics to understand the meaning of the scooter, but as a statue collector and a minor fan of DP that makes it a deal breaker.

Yea i kinda understand that.
I don't know the significance of the scooter either. Deadpool does get around in some fancy automobiles and this is probably just one of them.
And the irony between cold blooded assassin and silly scooter is also a selling point.
Oh well, just buy what we like.
And if you're just a minor fan, then no one in their right mind would recommend dropping close to $400 for this. Unless the guns and some parts of the statue are in die-cast metal or something, i don't see how this price is justified.

It's a motorbike!

Having him use "The Solution" while on the bike is very in line with Deadpool's character. I'm just having a real hard time justifying the price.

I don't think any minor fan will pick it up at that price.

There!
Now this piece has a backstory.
So Rhino smashed his car and he's getting him back with the solution on his 100% manly motorcycle!
