Commission for a Terminator 2 poster?

Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if there is any interest in a Terminator 2 poster? This is my favourite movie of all time, but I still want a poster from that movie that I really like. It seems that Mondo do not have the rights for the likeness of Arnold(judging by the latest T2-poster from them), and that kind of crushed my hope of an awesome T2-poster from them. Since we already had a Dredd-commision on this forum I thought there might be some hope for Terminator 2 as well. Maybe a fools hope, but it does not hurt to ask

I have no contacts what-so-ever when it comes to artists, this is simply to see if there is any interest. Maybe someone else that is also interested know how to make this happening.

I can say that I would be 100% in, not maybe...100%. T2 is at the top of my list. The Taylor is too far out of my price range and the Pittides is too difficult to aquire now that ebay shut down sales of it. Hope this happens.

Any estimates on what the price should be?

I guess there are a bunch of different things that decide what the price will be. I'm interested in a 24x36 poster, so I guess that will increase the price. Since it's T2 I would not mind paying more than 100$

I would be interested. Especially since Terminator 1 & 2 are on my want list. I don't know what rights Mondo has but there was supposedly a big problem between that recent T2 print and a new Mondo deal.

But I would need the following before I sign up:

1. We would need to get a good artist. I'm talking Martin Ansin level.

2. We would need to make sure we can provide a lot of feedback on the design.

Because even someone like Martin Ansin can miss. I love his Flash Gordon and TRON double prints. But what he did with Prometheus and Alien was a miss to me. I would have gone with Alien and Aliens. And definitely not told the story vertically. Because even though the creature origin is clever. Ripley and what goes on around her should be the focus.

For Terminator double prints, Sarah Connor and the dual bad/good nature of the Terminator should be the focus. At least that's what I'm thinking with a little thought right now.

I would think, at this point in time, a T2 artist might be tough to lockdown. I'd be reluctant if I was an artist. May just wanna stay away from that property.
