However I do strongly recommend the Lee Bermejo's Joker comic book thought. Easily the best Joker comic to come out since the 'Killing Joke'.

Hard to say. The comic and the Dark Knight movie were both released almost at the same time. There were some illustrations in the comic that resemble Heath Ledger but not all of them. Plus Joker's attitude and mindset in the comic is totally different to Ledger's character. To be honest I don't think there should be an comparison between the two. Story wise the comic isn't related to the movie.

Love the comic. Joker is obviously the main focus while every other classic characters have small roles (Penguin, Killer Croc, Riddler, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Batman, etc). I especially love how Croc was revamp as an African-American cannibalism thug and not some stupid reptile. Lee Bermejo nailed it perfectly.

I personally don't understand why this commands such a high price on the after market. In terms of the other b&w Joker statues, I feel the others represents the comics version much better than this one. But I'm a completist and I have to have this one either way.
