I see him as an Icon - the original Ronnie Raymond version. I haven't read any DC superhero books in a few years now, I'm not even sure who Firestorm is anymore. But I agree that I would prefer the classic look. But this one is close enough, I've been waiting for a good Firestorm statue for about 15 years, and I doubt they will produce a classic look statue (or even a bust) so I will probably buy this.

The new 52 is not over, it is still continuing. They are just removing the new 52 tag from the comics, which they should have down a couple years ago.

I dont know why but the icon line is not doing it for me. I love firestorm but something seems to be lacking in these statues

Maybe because they are museum pose. But that's what like about it. I guess for me they blend together but still can be treated individually.
