Kotobukiya Cable Fine Art Signature Series 1/6 Statue by Kucharek Bros

I was really looking forward to seeing a new Cable statue in 1/6 scale by Koto and the Kucharek brothers.

Was not really sold on the prototype pictures but I was hoping that once it is shown pained that it will win me over. Sadly I have to agree with some comments that the piece looks a little too busy for my taste with that humongous base and Cable having his weapons in front of his body, hiding all the beautiful details on the costume`s torso.

Personally I envision Cable in a pose like DST or Sideshow PF where he is holding one gun pointing up and his bionic arm is visible so we can marvel at all details.

Just started collecting 1/4 scale pieces and the price point made it clear that I will not be getting the Koto statue since $700 can get you a decent 1/4 piece.

I look forward to seeing how they envision Gambit and anticipate they sell me on a dynamic pose where he is throwing cards and leaping in the air

Yeah. I think this is an amazing sculpt and art design. Huge shout out to the Kucharek Bros. But $635 for a 1/6 piece is RIDICULOUS!

Skin tones look strange. Their Kotos Thor also had funky pink plasticy looking skin tones
