I didn't read the article. Did these actually fool anyone? That Adams fake is embarrassingly bad.

I was somewhat surprised that Burkey was taken on this one as well. McFarlane’s sketches are rare so there isn’t a lot to go by in terms of examples but that Adams piece was clearly a fake

I have seen the fake Spiderman Mcfarlane before for sale on Ebay I think. It has been posted about 6 months ago on the CGC boards.

This is why I've decided to only ever get sketches or commissions/pin ups directly from the artist (or their rep). Saves me from having to worry if I'm getting the real mccoy or a fake.

Yeah those are Bad, The 2 they show don't even match with one another...

wow, the McFarlane is really bad. looks like the forger was having a seizure. my only McFarlane sigs got done right in front of me, before he was the mogul he is today. booya.
