I know this statue is based on the Manga cover but I think it needs a bit more emotion in the face, that calm "I'm gonna kick your ass" face may not translate well to a 3D sculpt, they haven't quite captured the intensity especially in the eyes, to me they have just made him look sleepy.

just noticed, if its a copy of that cover it looks like he’s looking in the wrong direction. May or may not look awkward depending on a full shot of him.

Good point. It could lessen the energy of the pose, although I am certain it's no deal breaker. Well, fairly certain.

yeah, he should be facing his enemy in a 45 degree stance. With the head turned that direction he’s likely gonna look off balance- his enemy could just tip him over. F4F’s Ryo Hazuki does this, its the one thing I dont like about the piece. Kind of hard to ignore also.
I have no problems with the face, this would probably bug me 10x more. Guess we wont really know till the full reveal.

Finally some FOTNS, I'm looking forward to seeing more. Hopefully P1 include a few alternative portraits and a shirtless torso.

So, are there two different versions? That base is nothing that I expected either. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Also looking forward to better pics. I am def ordering this!
Thanks a bunch for posting, DGK!
