Posted on IG and FB. Looks like the living forest to me so new MK 1/3 Piece?

Always loved the Living Forest stage, and it's a cool idea for a base.

Wonder who they're doing? Smoke?

Smoke and Jade poked their heads out in MKII. That's about it, afaik.

Yeah were all saying Smoke on FB just as he is hidden there...but would PCS really do another Ninja? Would they use the same body as the other 3? Ant did say no more Ninjas......

Ermac would be a good shout too, but MK9/X Ermac as he would match up better with the base....i dunno but i can't wait for the reveal....

Wouldn't seem to be a smart move based on the reception to the current ninjas (I happen to like my Scorpion quite a bit though...

).

Even if you trust ant, he could have changed his mind. Probably easy to crank out a couple more palette swaps, and now that he's owner, profitability reigns.

For some reason I think Kung Lao would fit the stage well too. Something about slicing mofos in half on that stage really bringing back the memories...

I think it could be Ermac or even another Scorpion. For some reason I always think of Scorpion at that stage probably because of the movie

As far as more ninjas I think it would be great IF they could template the costume so production is consistent to the prototype. Not taking anything away from those that like their Scorpion but would you like it any less if it looked more like the prototype?

But like I said in another thread fabric Ninja palette swaps have to be some seriously profitable statues for someone along the production chain and having a collection of 1:3 Ninjas does not preclude other characters as so many focus on and I think it'd be pretty cool especially to flesh out a line.

I've got a longer reply typed, but not sure I want to post it. Just reopens that whole 'ninja fabric' debate - for what purpose?

So, unless I change my mind on posting it, the short answer to your question is that, no, I probably would not like it any less if it looked more like the prototype.
