DC Direct 1/4 Hal Jordan battery replacement

Well I have never bothered with DCD 1/4 line, but I always liked this Hal Jordan and CHíP. Got it in hand today and itís actually pretty good. Much better in fact than I was expecting. For those that have or had this piece, how do you change the battery in the Lantern? It barely lights up and Iím sure way overdue to be replaced, however I donít want to break it and it doesnít seem to come off his hand either. An old YouTube vid said you get to it from the top but I donít see how that is possible.

Anyway, actually love this piece and anyone with some advise is appreciated!

Living in a hotel in Italy, it was nice to get something fun for a change.

I think I know why it was so confusing, at some point the Lantern had flipped around. The top with the emblem was on the bottom. It does indeed come off and there is a tiny little screw there. I don’t have anything to take it off at the moment so just won’t use the light up for a bit.

Love this statue. Better than the custom I had. You can’t see it well in The black areas, but the musculature really pops. Looks 100 times better in person.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Nice one. I think it's time to take mine out and give him some display time, so thanks.
