The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Epson's Expression 11000XL Photo Scanner scanner is one of the only large format scanners I know of on the market. It can do pictures 12.2” X 17.2”, which just covers A3 size. Its not cheap tho as thier $3200. It can also do film/transparacy scanning as well.

A much cheaper option is Mustek's A3 1200S. If you can find one, it should only set you back a couple hundred bucks, but it doesnt scan at anywhere near the resolution as the Epson. 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi whereas the Epson is 2400 dpi x 4800 dpi.

Here is a link to the Mustek at Walmart, but its currently out of stock.

Here is one in stock for roughly $200.

Be forwarned tho, Mustek scanners do not have a good reputation. Supposedly they break down left and right. Large format flatbed scanners are basically an endangered species in the market today. The only one I can really recommend qualiy wise is the Epson.

Yeah, thats a lot of money. You could always check out used prices on eBay or older Epson models on eBay. You might be able to shave off 50-60% in the used market.

Not a problem. More than happy to help when I can. I'll keep my eye's open and if I see anything you might be interested in, I'll let you know.
