This piece was rough... Lets keep it real here, Perseus vs medusa was one of the all time epic fights in greek mythology. This should have been an epic statue.
First of all, it should have been 1/4 scale and it should have been huge. Next, this guy just killed medusa!!! Who needs a deflated Perseus, looking like he's near collapse, holding up some blah/flat head? He should be standing there fully triumphant holding that head up high with the snakes still slithering all around...
Sure, it probably would have carried a $1k plus price tag... but it would have been a truly epic piece that would have made heads turn.

Exactly right warlock..if ARH insists on doing Greek Mythology then he needs to keep it epic and stop mucking around. Sorry but i would br embarrassed owning this as a greek mythology piece..this might evrn be yhe worst ever attempt of making a statue of medusa vs perseus in human history

I was never a fan of this piece but I have to agree that the Perseus "exhausted" pose looked more natural with the original, larger Medusa tail.

Yea, I never had interest in this piece either. It just doesn't do anything for me.

As I have said before, the pose is off! What is he doing with Medusa's head? Is he leaning back or sitting on Medusa's body?

the big thing for me is with the original design you can see that its medusa straight on first person as you would usually be looking at a statue, so alot of her tail is hidden in the back now and not big enough to really notice. at least before you could easily tell it was medusa from first glance and the pose and everything would make alot more sense as it was much taller and noticable.. and she looks kinda underwhelming this small. It was just a really bad decision to change it IMO but shes still nice.
I am curious to see the next in the lineup though
