I'm not knocking ARH. It's a beautiful sculpt. However, even naked chicks will not sell out if not properly priced. There has to be value, and IMO that value is missing.
When it comes to pricing edition size matters too. There are only going to be 100 of these. Think about that. A gross of $46,500. From that has to come original sculpt and paint, then all production costs including molds, packaging, and shipping from China (I realize that there is extra charge for shipping but that is only from ARH, not to ARH from China).

If instead you have an edition size of 500-1500 of course the cost of each individual unit goes down. Laws of economics are even more absolute than laws of physics.

The price of this is in line for comparable statues from other companies. Maybe a $50 surcharge? Not bad really.

Even PCS can't come in under $400 lately with a pay in full discount and the ES for those is hundreds.

I say fair.

I could not agree with you more. ARH is a small company so things are a little different. However, this is where the intricacy comes into play. I'm buying a statue. Not a comic book or a poster. Put the money into the statue.

Not me, as much as I like all things vampire I cannot justify the price, which sucks because I skipped out on the 1/3 and I will only collect 1/4.
