Exactly. This foam isn't even of a quality to be used more than once, and I even question that one use.

Its cheap!!
I know because a company I work with used it to get started! Its the cheap stuff you get when you cant or dont want to cut into profits. With Jerry's stuff its just not going to work, they are too heavy! Can you imagine honda coming in these things!
I dont want to complain too much, I just want a little bit more love Jerry! We scratch your back, now you got to scratch ours

Yeah, it's obviously cheap. I know the stuff SS uses is way more expensive, but isn't there a happy medium? I would imagine that almost anything is better than what's presently being used.

If the foam was a harder more dense foam, there would be twice as many damages.
The foam isn't the problem. It's the people cutting it and packing the statues.
Most High end pieces come with the soft foam to cushion the piece. If they cut the foam correctly it will be protected just fine.

Wonder if we should combine this thread with the other one. Maybe we should just keep this one going with the Guile breakage poll?

Yes but I think as Jerry says, they are substantially more!
$20.00 is norm.

I'm not so convinced of that, DP.
