Boom!

Well, guys, I did it! I smashed Ottleys OA stack!

Arrived in SLC around 1130, and got to the convention center around 12. I was sent around to a number of different lines before finally obtaining my badge which allowed me early entry. Once they let us in, late, I headed straight to Ottleys booth. Ryan has been having back issues lately, so, his brother in law was there. There was a fat stack of pages. Naturally I started going through the stack and pulled out everything I wanted. Bro in law asked if I wanted to see the covers. "Duh" I responded. I pulled up a chair and was handed 2 Itoyas almost full of nothing but covers. It was like a freaking museum of pure awesomeness! A lot was either NFS or way outta my price range. I took pics of some of the stuff and I've got more to share, but, planes taking off now.

Final haul: 32 interior pages, 7 covers, a sketch in Asher's SW book by Ottley, a headshot on Asher's jam by Ottley, a great Hamer piece (set up in advance), and a fab Deadpool watercolor by Matt Fletcher for Wyatt.

ONLY 7 covers and 32 interiors?

Amateur.

...seriously, that is a mind blowing haul. Add that to all the other pieces you've been nabbing leading up to the show, and that is amazing.

That's an insane haul. I couldn't imagine buying that many pieces at one time. Looking forward to seeing everything.

Guys, in addition to hanging with Ryan, I also was fortunate enough to see my Station homies. Have known these cats for a few years and unfortunately, we don't cross paths that often. My good friends Matt Fletcher, Chris Uminga, and Chrissie Zullo, are some of the most fun and friendly artists any of you will ever meet. They were kind enough to let me hang with them and it was my pleasure to great to some of Utahs best pizza. Matt had an awesome Deadpool watercolor available which I picked up for Wyatts bday next month. Also got the guys to do a jam How to Train Your a Dragon pics for Wyatt also. Major thanks and much love to those guys, love y'all!

Here's some pics of some of the stuff I picked up.

Matt did these awhile back for me and I was able to pick them up. Electric Mayhem FTW.

Here's the Deadpool watercolor.

Here's another piece I set up in advance. Monster Girl transforming into Amanda (or vice versa), done by Chris Hamer.

These are the two pieces I got for Asher from Ottley.
