Hello Todd,

Thanks for contacting Sideshow. I have reviewed the provided photos and it looks like your piece is in excellent condition! Please know that the silver scuffs on the shield are part of its intended design, as they are meant to create a battle-damaged effect. This will be present across the entire line of statues, and can be seen on the photos present on the item's web page.
That is too bad about a shield when it looks more like paint defects then actual battle damage

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

that's another thing - it's completely retarded, i dont get sideshow's obsession with coh on hulk. You just can't have coh on hulk as there is nothing to cover up the seam and looks ridiculous. They did it on the new PF also - ruining otherwise a near perfect statue and same with this 1/5, although the new 1/5 sculpt overall is pretty bad, looks like frankenstein more than hulk.

The original hulk pf + comiqeutte are the only ones without any seam, and i like the comiquette sculpt much better.

HMO hulk is 1/6 isn't it?

It needs a repaint or someone to make a custom accessory. It's amazing how good im turned out and how average capt is, almost like they were made from 2 different factories...

My Cap came today. I think the shield isn't the best but it's not noticeable from a foot away. I had one issue on the ring finger knuckle with a very small bit of paint missing. I touched it up with a red sharpie and layered it in with my finger. You can't tell even up close that there was any issue now. I just wish the shield had a metallic look and it would be perfect. I would give this a 9 out of 10. The collectors modern head seems to not fit correctly and doesn't feel seamless as the ex sculpt. I would never use the modern sculpt but it feels like they had some issues in production. Minus all of these things, this is an incredible piece and I am happy to own it. Also, I wish they had done a better job of matching the bases. They don't feel like they are on the same street.
