Even although the figure is not due to ship for atleast a year, Sideshow have sent out a delay notice.
This mail arrived today:

Just got a chance to buy the regular version (no iron man gauntlet) from Sideshow's wait list. Should I bite or see if that deluxe version gets converted? What would you do?

Update....I ended up biting.

I doubt I will get waitlist converted as I couldn't waitlist it until I got home from work hours after it sold out.
