Art is a different ballgame for sure. Once gone, almost always can't get it back.

When you add it all up.. it sure does feel that way.

I wish I would've learned to have more patience when I got into this hobby.

It's indeed a crazy game. I once purchased a published splash page for $500. I sold it within a couple years for $2500. Two years later, it goes for 5k on Heritage. Wowzers. Ultimately, I can't really complain as I used that cash to buy artwork which has since doubled in price as well.

Once I move into a new place, my plan is to get rid of the foam/boxes. BST for this stuff is just not worth the hassle/stress anymore.

Pessimistic, but it's so true. Yeah the collecting part is the problem. Just buying some statues is fine but too many and trying to "trade" is when it gets expensive.

Oh yeah. My biggest regret is ever listening to the Macaluso hustle.

The joke is totally true:
What's the difference between a lawyer and a liar? Just a couple of letters of course.
What's the difference between a liar and a salesman? NOTHING! Ha!

Don't listen to people trying to sell you something especially in the future. Seeing is believing.

In a way I mean the money is not really wasted because I can recuperate some/all of it. It's just I could have used the money to get summer house out of town, a sports car or something or even traveling abroad. But these statues just lure you in even when you say you want to quit.
